Neopets Inspired Drinks and Merch Coming to It's Boba Time!

Posted on April 15th, 2025 @ 9:00am by Joe.

As announced back in November, a Neopets popup will be coming to 100 It's Boba Time locations in the USA from May 2nd to May 29th.

Two Neopets themed drinks will be available.

Cloud Smoothie: A dreamy blend of lychee, butterfly pea tea, creamy milk foam and juicy strawberry bits, which draws inspiration from Neopets’ Cloud Slushie, designed to complement the dreamy, cloud-like theme.

Banana Strawberry Swirl: A bold and playful mix of ripe banana, vanilla ice cream and sweet strawberry bits, inspired by Neopia’s many vibrant fruits. It specifically nods to the Juppie Swirl, a beloved Neopian fruit and a colour associated with Chias.

You can get a free sticker and a chance at a Rare Item Code with your drink purchase just by following Neopets on Instagram. (While supplies last.)

And if you spend $25 or more you will get a free pin!

Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event!

Battledome TCG Champions of Meridell Spoilers Continue!

Posted on April 11th, 2025 @ 4:00pm by Joe.

This week Upper Deck has shared a look at more new cards from the Champions of Meridell expansion, as well as the upcoming Meridell Starter Deck. Be sure to check out Upper Deck on social media, The Upper Deck Blog, and Upper Deck's Twitch Stream VOD for more details!

Choose Your Hero or Villain (We aren’t Judging)

Champions of Meridell sees the introduction of two new card types, Heroes and Villains! They function similar to Faeries and even sit in the same zone. Some of which even have the ability to transform! Let’s take a look at a few of the ones you can find within this amazing set.

Jeran’s Hero card doubles your chances of hitting a critical success! You can worry less about your opponents’ defensive rolls with Jeran on your side. Increasing your Attack and Agility stats has never been better. Lord Darigan’s Villain card takes a very different approach. This card will allow you to exert control over what is available in your opponent’s inventory. This does affect you as well though, however having 0 cards in your inventory while playing a Darigan strategy might just be what you want to do.

Here are some more cards that synergize well with both Jeran and Lord Darigan.

Breaking Card Limits

Within the Champions of Meridell starter deck we are introducing a new mechanic that has not been seen before in the Battledome (and one I am very excited about). We will have equipment that can exceed the two-copy limit per deck! These are exclusive to the starter deck and will include additional support for an equipment focused build.

“The More the Berrier”

Neopets rejoice! There is more food to enjoy within the Battledome. Berries join the Food group, but unlike Hot Dogs, Berries are meant to be enjoyed in multiples! All Berry cards will have the ability to avoid any number of other cards with “berry” in their name from you inventory for a larger effect! Let’s take a look at two that are coming soon.

The best part about berries is that you will be able to void any berry in your hand to gain additional effects. Perhaps you have had a few berries in your hand that you just don’t have a need for, void them with Aquaberry to draw a card for each of those. Perhaps you are looking at finishing a round and just need to turn some fail rolls into successes, use Jumbleberry and the rest of your berries to turn the tide.

Neomerch Exclusive! Neopets Funko Pop! Preview!

Posted on April 1st, 2025 @ 6:00am by Joe.

Update: 4/2/2025: APRIL FOOLS!  The announcement of a partnership between Funko and Neopets is very true, but as of yet no details have been shared. (I'm particularly proud of the out of box photos. I can't tell you how many hours it took to pull this off.)

You can also check out what we did for April Fool's Day 2024 here.

As part of their Year in Review this past February, Neopets announced a partnership with Funko, and we are thrilled to be able to exclusively share photos of some prototypes of the upcoming series of Neopets Funko Pop! Figures.

"Our collaboration with Funko marks a significant step forward in expanding our reach. There is so much lore and thought put into the Neopets world, and this partnership is a natural next step for us as a brand to tell our story." ~~ Dominic Law (TNT Dom)  CEO of Neopets.

“As a pop culture and fan-first company, we’re always exploring new ways to celebrate fandoms and build community through meaningful collaborations,” said Husnal Shah, SVP of Product at Funko. “Partnering with The Neopets Team to bring Neopia to life as Pop! figures has been a designer’s dream.”

The first wave will feature four fan favourite pets (Aisha, Kougra, Shoyru, Uni) in a fan favourite colour, Invisible!

Note: These figures are prototypes, and the final product may differ slightly from what we have been provided.

Aisha, Kougra, and Shoyru will be shipping to select retailers in June and Uni will only be available at Funko's Booth at San Diego Comic-Con. (With limited quantities also available on Funko.com during the show.)

Each figure stays true to the species it represents while still featuring the unique Pop! style.

All we can say is just wow! Look at the attention to detail on these!

They really nailed the Aisha's ears.

Who knew Invisible Kougras still had stripes?

Look at that Uni smile!

Which one are you most excited for?
