I wanted to take a moment to give a thank you to Mr. Doug Dohring. Doug passed away this month after a private battle with cancer.
Scientology aside, we all wouldn't be playing Neopets almost 25 years later without him. After a meeting with Adam and Donna, he knew they had something pretty amazing and immediately put forth a significant investment which formed Neopets Inc. He would lead the company as it's CEO until 2007 when it was sold to Viacom. During that time Doug was responsible for a lot of the amazing merchandise partnerships, as well as the inclusion of Virtual Prize Codes with Neopets Merch.
