Neopets x It’s Boba Time: Sip Sip Hooray for a Faerie-tastic Collaboration - April 15th, 2025
Neopets, the beloved virtual pet game that defined the 00’s, is teaming up with It’s Boba Time, for a deliciously nostalgic collaboration. This partnership marks another exciting step in Neopets’ revival, blending the whimsy of Neopia with the vibrant culture of boba tea. From May 2 to May 29, 2025, 100 It’s Boba Time locations across the US will become portals to Neopia, serving up exclusive themed drinks, Instagram-worthy décor and collectible merchandise – all designed to turn sips into stories and shared experiences. 
This partnership rides on the momentum of recent successes, including record growth in 2024 and Neopets’ mission to expand the brand so that fans are able to experience first-hand physically and digitally. Dominic Law, CEO of Neopets, explained: "Boba culture perfectly complements the Neopets brand with its playful, creative and community-driven nature. This collaboration isn’t just about the drinks: it’s about bringing fans together. Whether you’re a longtime player who grew up looking after JubJub or someone discovering Neopia for the first time, we wanted to craft an experience that feels like you’re stepping into the game. It’s a fun way to do that with flavors that remind the customers of our virtual companions."
Two uniquely crafted drinks inspired by iconic Neopian color styles will be available:
- Cloud Smoothie: A dreamy blend of lychee, butterfly pea tea, creamy milk foam and juicy strawberry bits, which draws inspiration from Neopets’ Cloud Slushie, designed to complement the dreamy, cloud-like theme.
- Banana Strawberry Swirl: A bold and playful mix of ripe banana, vanilla ice cream and sweet strawberry bits, inspired by Neopia’s many vibrant fruits. It specifically nods to the Juppie Swirl, a beloved Neopian fruit and a colour associated with Chias.
Each It’s Boba Time location will become a mini Neopets adventure, decked out with vibrant window clings and exclusive collectible merch – including pins, stickers and in-game codes for Neopets Classic. Fans will get the chance to bring home:
- FREE collectible pin with any purchase over $25
- FREE sticker with every Neopets drink (just follow @neopetsofficialaccount on Instagram!)
- Random chance of a redeemable code for classic game perks at Grundo’s Warehouse
Baby Neopets will be taking over the décor, because nothing pairs better with boba than their big-eyed, universal charm.
Neopets continues to seek diverse partnerships across various industries, including food and beverage, retail and entertainment.
